I recently enjoyed a vacation which included Utah, Oregon, California, and Nevada. This image is of the symphony concert hall:
"The beautifully restored Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, opened in 1984, was originally the Portland Public Theater, built in 1928.
The Italian Rococo architecture was said to be the national showcase of Rapp & Rapp, renowned Chicago Theater architects. Visitors are greeted by a 65 foot high "Portland" sign above the Broadway Marquee, which contains approximately 6,000 theatrical lights."
I was taken aback when I entered this magnificent place. I wasn't able to hear the Portland Symphony perform, but it's on my list of things to do.
